7-Layer Spam & Malware Detection
Seven independent Protection Layers examine every message: domain validation, a learning Bayesian filter, header authentication, heuristic scoring, sender reputation, your system antivirus, and YARA malware scanning. Automatic Encrypted Backups
Scheduled full and differential backups of your whole profile — not just mail, but contacts, calendar, rules, lists, filter training, and keys. AES-256 encrypted under a key GravesMail manages, so no password is needed day to day. Set a recovery passphrase once and your backups can be restored on a new or replaced device. Every deleted message is captured for 90 days.
End-to-End Encryption (OpenPGP)
Real, standard OpenPGP — sign, encrypt, and read encrypted mail with anyone using PGP on any mail system, not just other GravesMail users. Generate or import keys, verify fingerprints, and link a key to a contact so encrypting just works. Proven to interoperate in both directions with GnuPG, the reference PGP implementation. PGP encrypts the message body and attachments; it does not hide the subject line or who you wrote to.
Password-Protected Email
Send a private message to anyone — no keys, no accounts, no GravesMail required on their end. Your message and its attachments are sealed inside a real AES-256 encrypted ZIP that opens with free, ordinary software like 7-Zip or Keka on any platform. You share the password separately, by phone or text. It’s the industry-standard archive format — proven to open with real standard archiver software, not a GravesMail-only container.
External Image & Tracking Pixel Protection
External images blocked by default to prevent IP tracking. Tracking pixels stripped to prevent read receipts. Independent controls — load images without loading trackers.
